The web integrator is the intermediary between the public and a web site. Being the link between the developer and the designer, his job roughly consists of coding everything relative to the user interface. That’s my job !

HTML5 and CSS3

Web technologies evolve rapidly, and the use of HTML5 and CSS3 is a great asset to the users as well as the website owners.

These technologies increase the speed of development (reducing costs), and also represent an interesting progress regarding web performances; notably with the return of the lo-fi internet (mobile phones and tablets PC).

I now use these technologies on a daily basis in a way to concretely improve UX on modern navigators, without forgetting the rest – obviously.

Mobile Web

The uprising of mobile devices on the internet market is a subject that really captivates me. I read a lot on this matter, and I never refuse the job of adapting a website for mobiles.

My favourite technique is the fluid design (one address only and no redirection) using CSS3 Media Queries. It has the advantage of adapting itself to every screen resolutions in a harmonious and non-intrusive way; mostly without having the mobile web surfer lose any access to the content.

This being said, I don’t deny the utility of application like mobile websites. It all depends on the context and the goals being set.

Programmation

I must admit that even though I have a web integrator formation, I love programming. I really like PHP (especially OOP functions) and Javascript with jQuery.

By doing so, I’m relatively versatile and very independent in website creation matter.

I also get along pretty well with mainstream CMS like Drupal or Wordpress (mainly). But also with OsCommerce, Contao, and others.
